This foundation course provides all the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to perform a relaxing and effective facial treatment. You will learn how to assess different skin types, choose suitable products, and perform each step of a professional facial with confidence. This course is ideal for anyone looking to begin their beauty journey or add skincare services to their existing business. ⸻ What You Will Learn • Health, safety and hygiene procedures • Anatomy and physiology of the skin • Skin types and conditions • Client consultation and treatment planning • Step-by-step facial routine including cleanse, exfoliation, steam, mask and moisturise • Basic massage techniques • Product knowledge and selection • Aftercare advice and retail guidance ⸻ Practical Training and Online Learning Before attending your practical training day, you will complete your online theory module. This covers the fundamentals of skin structure, health and safety, and treatment preparation so that you are ready for hands-on learning. You will then complete your in-person practical training at The Beauty Hub Academy, working on two live models under tutor supervision. This allows you to gain experience and confidence while learning professional standards and techniques. All tools, products and equipment are provided during training. ⸻ Certification On successful completion of your online theory and practical training, you will receive an accredited Basic Facial & Skincare Certificate. This qualification allows you to gain insurance and offer professional facial treatments to your clients.
