At The Beauty Hub Academy, we regularly welcome volunteers to model for students during our in-person training courses. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a wide range of beauty and aesthetic treatments at reduced model rates while supporting trainee aestheticians on their professional journey.
Models play a vital role in helping our students gain hands-on experience under expert supervision. Every session takes place in our Glasgow training salon, led and overseen by fully qualified instructors to ensure your comfort, safety, and satisfaction at every stage.
Your Safety Comes First
All trainee treatments are carried out under direct supervision from our qualified instructors, who have years of professional experience and ensure every session meets strict health and safety standards. Your comfort and wellbeing are always our top priority.
What to Know Before You Book
Age restrictions apply and you may be asked to complete a consultation form before treatment. Certain treatments may require a patch test in advance. Model appointments are typically non-refundable, as they are educational in nature.
What to Expect as a Volunteer Model
Our in-person courses cover a wide range of treatments - from facials, lashes, and brows to holistic therapies, waxing, nails, and advanced aesthetic services. As a model, you’ll be booked into a training session where one or more students will perform your chosen treatment while being guided by an experienced tutor.

Please note that models are assisting in a training environment, which means treatments may take longer than standard salon appointments, and trainees may still be perfecting their technique.
